The interior of the Algarve still has a lot to offer: Silves (Castle, Cathedral, Municipal Archeology Museum built around a medieval Arab cistern), Monchique and its thermal baths, Alte and Querença.
The coast of Sagres, with its fortress, and Cabo de São Vicente, with its lighthouse, are located on one of the most spectacular coasts, with small bays and beaches to be discovered.
